Is registration still open for this year?
Yes, registration will be open year round.
How much is tuition?
For the 2021-22 school year, tuition costs start at $7,300. AYA also offers financial assistance for those who qualify. Any family requiring financial aid should meet with the Business Office Manager for an application for financial assistance.
I’m interested in this school but my child is not Muslim, will that be a problem?
Not at all. AYA is committed to admitting students of any race, color, religion, gender, national or ethnic origin, and affords them all the rights, privileges, programs and activities generally afforded or made available to students at the school. All members of AYA’s administration, faculty, staff and students are expected to respect the religious beliefs and ethnic backgrounds of all administration, faculty, staff, parents and students.
Do you accept international students?
International students will not be accepted at AYA without a valid F-1 visa or other valid residency visa, such as H2, R2, etc. Tuition for International students will be twice the published tuition for domestic students. All International students’ files will be processed by the academic advisor and reviewed and approved by the Head of School.
Do you offer any advanced educational programs?
The American Youth Academy gained the status of an International Baccalaureate (IB) World School in October 2014. This status allows us to offer the IB Diploma Program to our students in grades 11 and 12, of which 36% are currently enrolled. Designed for highly motivated students, the IB Diploma Program is a rigorous two-year course of study leading to externally assessed examinations. Upon completion, these students will receive an IB certificate for each course they successfully passed, allowing for courses to be accepted for college credit. We are the only Islamic school in Florida to offer an IB Programme.
