School Uniforms

In collaboration with Verona Uniforms and Luzora, we have carefully designed these uniforms to be not only affordable but also modern, incredibly comfortable, and in line with Islamic principles. Our aim is to empower our students to dress for success and concentrate on cultivating their work ethic and character.
 

Please note that uniforms are REQUIRED for all students attending AYA from PK3 to 12th grade. Infants and toddlers are not required to wear AYA uniforms, and families should follow the guidance provided by their child’s homeroom teacher.
 

At AYA, we value uniformity as it fosters a sense of togetherness and belonging among our students, teachers, parents, and staff. Our goal is to create a welcoming and comfortable environment where all students feel a strong sense of belonging.

Boys, K3–5th
AYA-logo polo shirt

Solid black, straight-leg uniform pants

Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes

Approved AYA PE shirt

AYA-branded hoodie or approved AYA outerwear

Students must wear the approved AYA PE uniform on PE days

Boys in grades 1st-5th may wear the AYA-logo Thobe on Friday's.
 

Girls, K3–5th

Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes

White prayer scarf

Boys Grades 6–12
AYA-logo Polo or Thobe (Must be purchased from Verona)

Solid black, straight-leg uniform pants, no jeans.

Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes.

AYA Hoodie (Must be purchased from Luzora)

Students must wear the approved AYA PE uniform during PE class. The PE uniform may not be worn outside of PE class

Girls, Grades 6–12
AYA-logo abaya or mid-thigh Oxford tunic (Must be purchased from Verona)

Solid black, straight-leg uniform pants, no jeans.

Black, white, teal, or gray hijab

Closed-toe, closed-heel shoes.

AYA Hoodie (Must be purchased from Luzora)

Students must wear the approved AYA PE uniform during PE class. The PE uniform may not be worn outside of PE class

Friday Uniform Option for Grades 6–12
Girls may wear a closed abaya and hijab in any color with black pants underneath.

Boys may wear a thobe in any color with black pants underneath.
 

Important Reminders
Jeans, joggers, cargo pants, sweatpants, pajama pants, Crocs, sandals, slides, and open-toe or open-heel shoes are not permitted.

Only AYA-branded hoodies may be worn as daily uniform outerwear.

Girls in grades 6–12 must wear the hijab covering the hair and neck.

PE uniforms must be purchased through Verona and worn during PE class as required.
