National Honor Society (NHS) & National Junior Honor Society (NJHS)
NHS and NJHS are prestigious organizations that recognize exceptional students in high school (grades 9-12) and middle school (grades 6-8) respectively. More than just an honor roll, NHS & NJHS celebrate students who have displayed remarkable achievements in scholarship, leadership, service, and character.
At AYA, students are inducted into the AYA Chapter of NHS every Fall, based on their outstanding academic performance, dedicated service to the school, exemplary discipline record, and teacher recommendations.
Please note that any student who enters AYA on probation or receives ISS or OSS will be ineligible to participate or join until the conditions of suspension from activities are met.
